Our electricians drive their service vans home so they can be dispatched directly from home for emergency service calls.

The minimum service charge for a regular time call is $130.00 and covers the first hour an electrician is onsite. After that, we bill $89.00 per hour. We always bill to the minute, never rounding up to the next quarter or half hour. After hours service calls are billed at $150.00 minimum and $109.00 per hour. Travel charges are only billed if the nature of the emergency causes an electrician to pull off another job without finishing. First hour rates are reduced to an hourly fee if we are there for more than six hours.

MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS

“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” – Ben Franklin. This quote is most evident when it comes to keeping your business running. We offer maintenance contracts that allow you to rest assured knowing that business critical systems are actively being maintained, whether you rely on your lighting systems for your retail business or equipment for your manufacturing business. Rhema Electric develops a plan to inspect and maintain all your critical systems for a monthly fee. Generally, this fee is much cheaper than the cost of emergency repairs when items do ultimately fail.

Top Reasons For Having a Maintenance Program

  • Well-maintained equipment has less downtime.

Comm_Inspection Services

INSPECTION SERVICES

Whether you are buying a new building or maintaining your existing building, it is critical to know the state of your electrical systems. At Rhema Electric LLC, our inspection service team offers services to all our commercial and industrial clients. If you are purchasing a new building, we can first make sure that the electrical system will meet your electrical needs. Then, we can offer insight into the condition of the system. In your existing building, it is important to know how your electrical equipment is holding up. We use thermal imaging to identify hot spots in panels and connections that can save you thousands of dollars when caught early. Each inspection is completed by a licensed electrician who can offer recommendations and even perform some upgrades while onsite.

Inspections can be for specific concerns or for the facility as a whole. Inspection services are offered to ensure safety and code compliance. Items we generally look into are service size, breaker condition, connections, feeder condition, conductor load, equipment condition, grounding, GFCI protection, and overall design. Another area we have had great success in is inspecting for energy efficiency. We have saved our customers thousands of dollars in energy costs by reducing their energy consumption, and oftentimes the utility company pays for most of the upgrades.

When the inspection is complete, a professional report will be provided to each customer. In this report, you will find information on your system, pictures, thermal images, recommendations, and proposed costs for upgrades. Our inspection services are just another service we offer to completely meet your electrical needs.

Comm_Lighting Efficiency

LIGHTING EFFICIENCY

Rhema Electric works with utility companies to offer lighting efficiency upgrades to our customers with little to no cost to them. Utilities offer rebates and incentives for customers to reduce their energy consumption.

Old light fixtures like the Metal Halide or High-Pressure Sodium lights used in warehouses offer opportunities to save up to 40% in energy while offering much better lighting. Best of all, it is instantly on and off, unlike HPS or MH.) Not only does the customer realize instant savings in their power bill, but the utility companies generally pay 70% or more of the cost.

Office buildings that are 10 years or older may have T-12 type fluorescent fixtures, which can be replaced by newer T-8 high-performance lamps and ballasts. These will save you 20-30% on energy costs, and the utility companies generally pay most of the installation costs.

Further rebates are being offered for upgrading task lighting from halogen to LED, saving hundreds of dollars per lamp in energy costs on top of the prescribed rebates.

Exterior building lights can be upgraded to energy-efficient lights with large savings.

No matter what avenue we take, we always offer a Return On Investment worksheet before we start so each customer can evaluate their projects.
