LIGHTING EFFICIENCY

Rhema Electric works with utility companies to offer lighting efficiency upgrades to our customers with little to no cost to them. Utilities offer rebates and incentives for customers to reduce their energy consumption.
Old light fixtures like the Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium lights used in warehouses offer opportunities to save up to 40% in energy while offering much better lighting. (Best of all it is instantly on and off unlike HPS or MH.) Not only does the customer realize instant savings in their power bill the Utility companies generally pay 70% or more of the cost.
Office Building's ten years or older may have T-12 type fluorescent fixtures which can be replaced by newer T-8 high performance lamps and ballasts saving 20-30% on energy costs and the utility companies generally pay for most of the install.
Further Rebates are being offered for upgrading task lighting from halogen to LED saving hundreds of dollars per lamp in energy costs on top of the prescribed rebates.
Exterior Building lights can be upgraded to energy efficient lights with large savings.
No Matter what avenue we take we always offer a Return On Investment worksheet before we start so each customer can evaluate their projects.
